Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, the running mate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, has shaded Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia over his "driver's mate" comment.
It may be recalled that the Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) while outlining his vision as the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), stated that he was only a “driver’s mate”
“As Vice-President, I am like a driver’s mate. But if, by the Grace of God, you make me President, I will be in the driver's seat with constitutionally mandated authority to pursue my vision and my priorities” he said
However, during her outdooring in Accra on Wednesday, Prof Opoku-Agyemang assured that: “I will share in our collective successes and share responsibility for our setbacks if any. And at the time of reckoning, Your Excellency John Mahama, I will not in advancement of self-serving ambition declare to the whole world that I was only the driver’s mate"

This woman doesn't even understand what she is saying. She should tell us her achievements as an education minister under Mahama between 2012 - 2016. Teachers couldn't get chalks to teach, Note pads for lessons notes, not even Registers. She cancelled teachers allowance, etc. This is the person wanting to become a Vice President of the Republic of Ghana. Apuuuuuu!!
