Kate Gyamfua, the National Women’s Organizer for the New Patriotic Party, has taken a jab at the founder and leader of Movement for Change, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen.
Kate Gyamfua reprimanded Alan Kyerematen for breaking away from the party.
Alan Kyerematen resigned from the New Patriotic Party following the party’s presidential election which saw Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia become its flagbearer.
Alan accused the leadership of the party of manipulating the election against him and opted out to form his own political movement dubbed the “Movement for Change” with its symbol being a butterfly.
Speaking on Peace FM’s morning show “Kokrokoo”, Kate Gyamfua described Alan’s action as a sin against the NPP and left him to karma.
“You were a Minister for 8 years under Ex-President Kufour’s regime and also became a Minister for 7 years under Nana Addo Dankwa’s administration. But you rise against your government because you went for primaries and wasn’t voted for not because you were rigged or Bawumia went unopposed. There is indeed karma! God will judge every issue”, she said.
She exclaimed; “This thing where people who benefit from the party stand against it is a sin. There is karma.”

Mrs Gyamfuah, so you joined NPP to benefit, as in serving in government or serving your country? It is such a great shame, how the NPP has become corrupted under Akuffo Addo, and how unexplained wealth-opulence has now become the norm in NPP. Mrs Gyamfuah, is it not obvious to you, how money and not integrity/ideas/capabilities has become the choice to positions in the NPP. Nkrumah broke away from the UGCC right, compare the accomplishments verses if Nkrumah remained with the UGCC. I weep for my motherland!
Who gives a fuk about npp and ndc. use less monkeys!!!!] I CALL FOR A BLOODLESS COUP!!!
Eeven Ken beat Alan in the NPP primaries and came second to Vice President Bawumia. This is a clear indication that it takes more than party dynamics to win intra-party elections. There are no hereditary positions in democratic party politics, and in contemporary democratic dispensation the emphasis is on competition of ideas and good leadership. There is no free lunch for you in politics, because you have the personality of a leader. Given the structures of our economy and our history as a nation, no single political party can claim to have all it takes to bring us to the land of plenty. Our collective, successive well-planned efforts, priorities, and choices we make will get us there. Alan is hardworking and he has been fortunate to have had the opportunity in the two NPP administrations to help build his dear country, Ghana. I believe it takes more than hard work and virtues to be a good leader, but they are not mutually exclusive.
Galamsey Queen I know by now they've bought new excavators to replace the ones they comically burnt. The kwaebibirem, Atiwa and Demkyembour destroyed lands and water bodies will come after you. That will be senior Karma.
@Obi-ba, well that is your opinion as you admitted. I will not hesitate to do what Alan did if I were in his shoes. He sacrificed his life for a party hoping that that party can help Ghana in a more significant way. Unfortunately, the party has greatly disappointed everyone and destroyed Ghana through it's inept government. Knowing himself very well and the intentions he has for Ghana, he knew that he will be in the position to rescue Ghana. No one has ever had any concerns or character and moral issues about Alan, and that's a good testament. In the case of the current president, it took Ghanaians many decades to agree to try him due to his history and concerns about his character, unfortunately, he didn't disprove those who were concerned or exonerate himself in the end. Alan knows very well that the progeny of the president is more or less like his boss, lying for political power is not a problem to him, pretending to be a " a pseudo Christian" for political power is not a problem to him, overemphasizing on being "humble" is a big red flag. Presenting himself as an economic WizKid and traumatising Ghanaians with his exceptionally poor leadership of the economy and swiftly running away unashamedly from the economy to another terrain called digitisation and claiming credit for people's ideas is another big red flag. Alan knows very well that another disaster is looming if Ghanaians ever mistakenly give power to Bawumia whose ultimate achievement will be to take the Qur'an to the julorbi house. I'm not sure Alan is expecting to win the elections this year, however, as someone who deeply means well for Ghana, the best he can do now is to nurture a more credible alternative to NDC and NPP. Only short sighted, greedy political slaves will fault Alan for his decision. If anyone want to find a traitor, look no further, the mother serpent of corruption and his mate could be classical examples.
I do not understand certain elements who are supposed to know better when they raise certain issues when the answer is quite simple. Alan knew very well that he had presidential ambitions as Trade Minister under the NPP Akufo-Addo government. Alan may also know that Vice President Bawumia had the same ambition and by virtue and performance had an edge over him to be the party's candidate. Now, if his presidential ambition meant so much to him that he would leave the party if he lost. He should have resigned earlier in his second term to do more work in the party for his candidacy. Leaving the party to form his movement in the way he did was very ill-informed. That is my honest opinion.
See Greedy Galamsey woman Omanbofuo(Destroyer of country), the rigging of the elections, attack on his delegates ,you people have destroyed NPP n Kuffours legacy
Look, you politicians can be so nauseating. Who told you God collaborates with karma? Rather, the NPP and their Nana Addo and Bawumia are the ones who will face the consequences of their evil actions against the people of Ghana. The massive corruption against Ghanaians have not been enough for you, the galamsay poisonous waste that you guys are creating daily is killing Ghanaians alive today and those who will come in the future. Additionally, you guys orchestrated to send the only fine man and naturally decent, Alan keyeremanteng away and you want to impose on us, a certain clueless mate who's only goal is to take the quaran to the jubilee house. We will show you down in December God willing
God will rather visit NPP and all who paid huge sums to influence the elections and all who took such monies. Already if there-s a karma it has befallen NPP as they head to opposition. Gyamfuah may be too youg to know what happened to PFP and UNC the split in the UP tradition which handed power to Dr Hilla Limann on a silver platter. Alan and his group needs just 10% to send NPP to opposition. Wherte was he when insults were hurled on Alan and where was Bawumia when NPP was being formed? Ungrateful people.
Seriously speaking, the dumsor is affecting all irrespective of political affiliation, and so we have to solve the problem. The government must explain why the problem is occurring and the short-term and long-term solutions that are being put in place. We have been having electricity challenges since the 1990s, so I find it sad that we have not understood the problem. A problem well understood is a problem half-solved.
