Aggrieved workers of Inter City STC have given government up to Tuesday October 2, to determine the fate of the ailing company.
STC is indebted to the tune of 43 million Ghana Cedis to various banks and companies. The workers have also not been paid for the past three months. Chairman of the Senior Staff Association Seth Kwame Martin told XYZ News that government must intervene to save STC from total collapsing.
Meanwhile, Prudential Bank has secured a court order to auction STC offices in Accra to defray a loan of 3.8 Million Dollars.
