Allegations made by Mr. Craig Murray, former Deputy British High Commissioner to Ghana are serious enough to deserve the quick attention of Government.
He alleges that a number of foreign companies including some from his own country entered into dubious contracts with the previous administration leading to the loss of millions of dollars.
Craig is baffled by the fact that the Mills administration has done very little to investigate glaring cases or corruption and to punish those responsible.
In our view these are extremely serious allegations because they hinge on the mandate of the current administration which campaigned on the wings of probity and accountability.
If some entities have stolen our resources, we need to retrieve them and to punish them severely.
This task cannot wait.
