The Home Makers Association, a Takoradi-based non-governmental organization, with focus on social issues, has said, the country’s educational system should be based solely on available materials.
According to the Association, the country’s current education is not in conformity with the resources available.
Mr. Daniel Arthur, the Founder and Leader of the Association, who stated these at a press conference at Takoradi, said this means the country’s education system needs drastic review.
He said, the development of any nation depends on human and material resources, and fortunately, the country has a lot of these two resources.
Mr Arthur disclosed that the Association will, on March 18, organize a “Sankofa” demonstration in Takoradi, to draw attention to some educational and social issues in the country.
