The Rector of Takoradi Polytechnic, Prof. John Frank Eshun, has called on students of the institution to use appropriate channels of communication to have their concerns addressed by management.
Speaking during the 25th matriculation ceremony of the school to officially admit new students for the 2015/2016 academic year, Prof. Eshun said the Polytechnic operates an open door policy which ensures easy communication and collaboration between management and the Students Representative Council.
He therefore called on students to respect the available channels of communication and avoid using anonymous letters as a way of airing their grievances.
Prof. Eshun encouraged the newly-admitted students to strife for excellence by eschewing laziness and other disruptions which will prevent them from achieving their aims.
In all, 2,302 students were enroled to pursue various Bachelor of Technology degree and Higher National Diploma programmes.
