The Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) says its second semester examinations scheduled to commence on June 8, 2020 shall be conducted online as previously arranged.
GIJ had earlier announced that the end of second semester examinations would be conducted online due to the Covid-19 pandemic though the specific date was not announced.
In response to President Akufo-Addo’s directive on Sunday, May 31, 2020, on reopening of schools, management of the institute has reiterated that all previous arrangements regarding the examinations for the Second Semester of 2019/2020 Academic Year remain unchanged.
A public notice by the institute dated June 2, 2020, states that;
1. Examination for the Second Semester of 2019/2020 Academic Year shall commence on 8th June, 2020;
2. Examination shall be conducted online as previously arranged; and
3. As communicated earlier, all students with peculiar difficulties should inform their lecturers and copy [email protected] for necessary arrangements to be put in place.
