The Government pharmacists have declared an indefinite strike today to express displeasure at the pace of work to increase their market premium after their migration unto the Single Spine Salary Structure.

The pharmacists had issued a threat to embark on a strike a couple of weeks ago but rescinded that decision following discussions with government.
