Health and safety week celebration is marked globally among Tigo operators annually .The initiative is to create awareness among members of staff on their health related issues.
In Tigo Ghana, there were series of activities and presentations during the week. They included a talk on prevention of life style diseases by personnel from the Accra regional health directorate and aerobics for all staff members after work for each of the day.
Staff members also undertook NHIS registration for children below 18 years during the week and a talk on malaria and cholera prevention practises at chorkor. They registered a total of 200 people.
Staff also got a full spa treat from allure Ghana.The “week-long activities climaxed with a kid’s party for staff children at the Aviation Social Centre.
