Evangelists and leaders of churches in the country have been admonished to demonstrate genuine concern about the social and economic well being of their members apart from feeding the members with the word of God.
In this regard, leaders of churches have been urged to design strategies that will help ease the economic difficulties of their members whilst molding the members to exhibit godly principles in their social, political and business endeavours.
The Director of the West African Office of Samaritan Strategy (a Christian NGO), Mr. Christopher Ampadu gave the advice when speaking to Peace FM at the end of a 3-day conference organized by Samaritan Strategy for leaders of churches within Amasamam and its environs in the Ga West District.
He criticized evangelists who live extravagant life styles and those who enter into the pastoral field to primarily enrich themselves.
