Guinea-Bissau's President Malam Bacai Sanha has died in hospital in Paris, national radio reports.
The 64-year-old, who became president in 2009, had travelled to France for medical treatment in late November after being taken seriously ill.
The nature of his illness has not been made public but he was known to suffer from diabetes. Mr Sanha had initially been treated in intensive care in a hospital in neighbouring Senegal.
