The European Union is providing funds for the Dodo Pepesu-Nkwanta stretch of the Eastern Corridor Roads, Mr Joe Gidisu, Minister for Roads and Highways announced at the weekend at Kpassa.
He said procurement had been done for work to start early May for the portion of the road popularly known as the missing link.
Mr Gidisu said work on the stretch delayed due to some technical issues raised by the donors.
He said compensations had already been paid to people affected by the project, a situation which also delays work.
Mr Gidisu described that portion of the project as the, most difficult and said he was happy that work would soon begin to complement work on other sections of the Eastern Corridor Roads.
