Wesonomodaga Raw Food Sellers Cooperative Association (WRFSCA), a market group in Navrongo, has climaxed a three-day advocacy training programme.
It was to equip them with skills to engage policy institutions to address bottlenecks that affected their businesses.
The training was funded by the BUSAC Fund and aimed at building the capacity of the women.
Madam Fati Aduni, Secretary to WRFSCA, said as market women they faced problems in transacting their business in the Navrongo market and this included lack of drainage system around their areas and leakages in some stores in the market that are old.
She said the training offered them an opportunity to engage the assembly to seek redress and are involved in improving internal revenue mobilization.
