The Chief of Tamale, Naa Dakpema Dawuni Alhassan, has called for true reconciliation among Dagombas.
Speaking to Citi News, he reiterated his continual call for peace in Dagbon, saying, Dagbon cannot continue on divided lines.
Fighting each other because of what has happened will make things worse for Dagombas; we shouldnt let the event divide Dagbon or make things worse for the North, he bemoaned.
He added: I am still appealing to everybody in Dagbon to remain peaceful because we are brothers and sisters and anything can happen anytime anywhere.
Since the Yaa-Naas downfall, the decision as to who succeeds the late Dagbon overlord is a matter yet to be decided.
