Addressing security personnel during a Brigade Exercise organized by 3rd Battalion of Infantry in Sunyani, Lieutenant General Peter Augustine Blay, said persons who misconduct themselves will be severely dealt with.
Lieutenant General P. A Blay said the security service will surmount all challenges and to adequately support civil authority to sustain the peace Ghana is currently enjoying.
May I use this opportunity to caution you [Security services] against engaging in any activity that can tarnish the image of our security services because you will be severely sanctioned.
I however assure you that those who will continue to discharge their duties professionally will have the full backing of high command.
Let us approach our duties with impartiality, professionalism, maturity and the interest of the nation above all Lieutenant Blay said.
