President John Dramani Mahama left for Ankara,Turkey on Sunday as part of a four day official visit to that country.
While in Turkey the President is expected to open a new Embassy of Ghana in Ankara,Turkey.
The Ghana Mission which started operation in Turkey late last year has been without an official office.
The President's four day visit is loaded with Courtesy calls on the President of Turkey Abduoulaye Gul and Prime Minister Tayib Erdogan as well as interact with some key Industry players.
The President will also hold Bilateral meetings,visit some historic sites both in Ankara and Instabul.
The President is accompanied by a high powered delegation made up of care taker Ministers of Foreign Affairs Alhaji Mohammed Mumuni, Defence Lt Gen Joseph Henry Smith.
Also is the Minister Designate for Foreign Affairs and former minister of Trade Madam Hannah Tetteh.
The others are the Executive Secretary to the President Dr Raymond Atuguba, Secretary to Cabinet Roger Angsowine and some officials from the Foreign Ministry.
