Officials of the Narcotics Control Board and the Takoradi port have conducted their final examination of the substances impounded at the port on Friday.
Preliminary checks revealed that the substances were cocaine. They were concealed in shoes imported from Panama.
Two people have been arrested in connection with the cocaine bust.
Fred Gavor, Western Regional Commander of the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority added that investigations are still ongoing to determine the final destination of the drugs.
