The Deputy Minister of Finance, Cassiel Ato Forson, has challenged the Ghana Revenue Authority to put in more efforts to meet revenue set targets for this year.
He said the middle income status of the country has caused a dip in donor support hence the need to generate internal revenue for national development.
He said the GRA cannot afford to miss its target as recorded last year where revenue target fell short by 19%.
Mr Ato Forson said this when he paid a surprise working visit to some GRA offices in Accra and Tema.
