Chairman of the governing Council of the University of Education - Winneba (UEW), Professor Emmanuel Nicholas Abakah says the Council will protect assets and funds of the university.
He also noted that the University's vision to train competent teachers as well as contribute to the educational policy and development remains solid despite challenges at the institution.
Prof. Abakah, was speaking at the first session of the 22nd congregation of the University.
He further assured all stakeholders of the Council's "uncompromising commitment to do everything possible within our power to restore normalcy to the University's management and the administration".
