@ Kwaku Abrantie3, we are all not political hacks. the only thing ia that we are unhappy about the levers of the state and their cronies treated far differently form the rest. This USA and Europe you refer to, they try to provide the ordinary citizen some decent life so when they are given special treatment, it is in order. contrast it with our situation. Women given birth on the floor of our premier hospitals, no beds, no water flowing in some hospitals, lack of educational facilities and so on. It is too much. Any political party gets to power, chop as much as they can until their booted out. If all these things persist and the ordinary person is treated like a non entity, then the only recourse is our leaders forced to use those very facilities they disregard for better ones. Why should he be flown to a better facility whilst someone suffers from common malaria and dies needlessly just a few miles from where he got the accident? I suggest that we ban all foreign travel of our leaders for medical attention and if any of them gets ill or is in an accident in a particular vicinity, he or she should be treated at the nearest health post as they always claim that we have fantastic health facilities anytime they are in government. That is the only way that they will sit up. They are no better than the Waakye seller.
I have read all you guys comments, and i can tell the mix feeling becos of the economy hardship . I stay in the Gomoa Buduburam district were all the actions took place, and i must say that the deputy minister is a lucky man, and he must be grateful to God for his Life and must not forget the people ( BOTH ORDINARY AND PARTY EXECUTIVES ) who were on the scene of the accident and offer some help after his recovery. This should be a lesson for the deputy minister to support the road project in the district to fix the bad roads...... His V8 was strong enough to resist the force from the truck but an ordinary can would have been crash totally !
DIRTY PARTISAN POLITICS BASED ON IGNORANCE AND MISCHIEF WILL KILL GHANAIANS. IS THIS THE FIRST TIME A HELICOPTER HAS BEEN USED TO EVACUATE ACCIDENT VICTIMS?? OR YOU PPL WISHED THIS MAN DEAD BCOS HE IS NPP?? WHAT KIND OF CALLOUS/INSENSITIVE ATTITUDE IS THIS?? AND WHO TOLD YOU WE ARE ALL AT THE SAME LEVEL IN SOCIETY?? EVEN IN USA AND EUROPE SOME PEOPLE RECEIVE PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT BCOS OF THEIR POSITIONS IN SOCIETY. AND NOTE THAT IN THE PAST MANY ORDINARY GHANAIANS IN CRITICAL MEDICAL CONDITIONS HAVE ON SOME OCCASIONS BEEN AIRLIFTED FOR ADVANCE MEDICAL ATTENTION IN THE COUNTRY. NAT, FATAL INJURIES RESULT IN DEATH SO NO NEED FOR HELICOPTER. RATHER THOSE IN CRITICAL CONDITION CAN BE AIRLIFTED FOR FASTER ATTENTION. WE SHOULD RATHER FIGHT FOR MORE AMBULANCES AT THE LOCAL LEVELS SO THE UNDERPRIVILEGED IN SOCIETY CAN BE ATTENDED TO WHEN NEEDED. POLITICIANS WHO USE TAXPAYERS' MONEY TO BUY EMPTY VEHICLES FOR AMBULANCES MUST BE INVESTIGATED AND DEALT WITH MERCILESSLY.
Why were they airlifted if their injuries were not fatal injuries. This npp government is a joke. You claimed the past government was engaging in waste yet this small accident you are wasting expensive helicopter fuel to airlift a common thieff of a deputy minister. Ursula should have been in the vehicle too.
NPP made all the noise in the world when the past government bought this helicopter and am sure he George Andah made noise out of it, all in the name of politics but today he has being airlifted comfortably. NPP full of hy-po-crites with hy-po-cri-tes supporters
OHHH. OH OH OH. THERE IS AN ACCIDENT AT SUHUM INVOLVING TWO BUSES. ALL PASSENGER ARE IN CRITICAL CONDITION, PASSENGERS NUMBERING ABOUT 39. PLEASE WITH THIS WHAT ARE WE GOING TO USE TO CONVEY THEM, PLEASE DONT BRING HELICOPTER BRING JET OR CARGO PLAIN. ***barred word***, WHO EVEN PASTED IT THERE AS NEWS AH AH AH HMMMMMMM. GOD WILL PUNISH THEM ONE BY ONE. THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING. EDIOTSSSSSSSS. THEIVESSSSS
Some Ghanaians are very ***barred word***. So after reading accident story about a fellow the only thing that concern you is how he was transported to the hospital instead of you praying for the victims. You people are fooIish.
I remember when the helicopters were being purchased for the air force his party NPP made a hell out of it...that it was not needed....now he is a beneficiary...."Susuka"
Yesterday around 8pm a young lady was knocked down by a run away vehicle and died because there was no Ambulance to carry her to the hospital. You see! !, our leaders don't think about we the citizens but rather themselves. Fire burn our wicked leaders. If it were me , I would have died by now. God is watching us.I rest my case.
hahahaha, allah is watching, helicopter is only for politicians, ***barred word*** africans.
