The Christian Council of Ghana has allegedly revoked the Founder and leader of Glorious Word Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah’s license to run a church.
According to the report, the Christian Council took this bold step against Owusu Bempah because of the death prophecies he laid on some top personalities.
Rev Owusu Bempah during the 31st night service held at his church in Accra made series of death prophecies on some figures which caused chaos at his church premises.
However, according to the council, such deviant actions from the Prophet trouble the public peace and as such his right to operate a Church in Ghana has been revoked.
A report from News7pm reveals the Christian Council said in a letter that the Registrar General has been notified to cancel all registration documents relating to the Pastor’s church.
The council, therefore, assigned members of his congregation to Prophet Nigel Gaisie who is a colleague in the pastoral business.
Well, rumors hovering around air suggest that prophet Nigel Gaisie is behind this as the council is headed by his in-law.

The christian council has no right to annul any church in our age. Because we live in an era of freedom of worship. We preachers of the truth have our part to play by preaching the truth to the masses an leave them to make their choices. If they choose to follow fables and stories it is up to them. So leave Owusu Bempah alone for we are not in the era of the dark ages. So beware, so called christian council.
How possible...
Funny
Am very disappointed in you peace FM fro even quoting from such a fake news blogger...... Mtcheeeeeeew
Who are spreading this fake news? Peace FM...Why?
Fake news. Citifm fell for news from a satirical website.. That is terrible enough At least good journalism requires that you contact the Christian Council of Ghana for confirmation of this before going live with it... News7pm, the original source of the claim says it all under the ABOUT US tab on their website....
The Christian Council of Ghana is toothless. We have over 110,000 churches and prayer centres in Ghana only 48 churches constitute the Council so they have limited control of the churches who do not belong to their membership. If there will be sanity in the churches there should be a constitutional provision in the country that compel every church, prayer camp, prayer point to register and belong to the association.
Hahahahahaaaa. Another fake report or just a wish of the reporter. Christian council does not licence any person to run a church. They can revoke his membership in the council but cannot bare him from running a church. Please report right
Do we have a body called Christian Council? were they dreaming or slumbering? Where were they hiding till today? After floating indiscipline and into the system do they now turn to do what? I am not in favour of the style of Owusu Bempah's pronouncements, however it is a better evil than going "spiritual to steal and to give lotto numbers by some. Where was the council when undies were being collected and a woman was seen carrying cement as a form of punishment.. what a bunch of jokers... After all all die be die... whether through prophecy be it true or false....
Owusu Bempah Church is not and has never been under the Christian Council I therefore do not see how the Christian Council can annul a certificate it did not issue.
