REST IN PEACE HON. GOD BE WITH YOU.
@Don Biko you are a million% right. We should all rethink our payment of tithes. This is because of what it should be used for according to the holy book.
If he wasn't a prominent politician and 'a somebody' in society would the church have allowed the celebration of his burial service in the church ,given the context that he was in a polygamous marriage(he had 3 wives)? The church frowns on polygamous relationships. All must be done to protect the sanctity and integrity of the church. That is the only place where the poor and down-trodden in society can run to for solace and if it is also been taken over by the rich and influential then where do they go? Just thinking aloud....
He has left a big responsibility for the senior brother.
i want to ask oooooo? Since when did the presby church allow for polygamous marriage???
It is high time the issue of polygame be discussed dispassionately. Marriage is like death, there is no second chance for most Ghanaian tradition. I could imagine what the first wife had gone through with the coming in of the second wife. At the same time, the second wife might have been his pillar. This man might have died from the stress of two wifes. Seeing these nice kids from different mothers will set your mind thinking and that by itself could be stressful.
