Minister of Information, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah is urging Ghanaians to place their confidence in the Ghana Police as they have the skills and the expertise to investigate every criminal case brought before them.
According to the Ofoase-Ayirebi lawmaker, the country’s security agencies clearly know their job description and are up to task in resolving every criminal case.
Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' Morning Show, Hon. Oppong Nkrumah assured the general public that just as the Police Service and Interpol have done a yeoman’s job with carefulness and dedicated effort to trail Asabke Alangdi, the second murder suspect of Adams Mahama, former NPP Upper East Regional Chairman, the same can be done when "opportunity, time, resources and confidence" is placed in them.
“I want to encourage Ghanaians that Ghana Police know their job because the manner in which they skilfully trailed and lured him for 2 years after following and monitoring Asabke Alangdi in both Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast and later arrested the second murder suspect of Adams Mahama, this explains that whenever there is an issue and Ghana police is given the opportunity and resources and place confidence in them they can conduct their investigations and ensure that the perpetrators of crime are brought to book,” he assured.
He reiterated that the police needs time and patience to operate; adding that the Akufo-Addo government will do whatever it takes to resource and help Ghana police to work effectively in order to restore and maintain the confidence Ghanaians have in them.

BS!
i sometimes wonder how power has changed how NPP people talk nowadays
What about JB Dankwa's death? Is it not the same police?
Stop praising the police too much because oneday the same police that you are praising will turn their back on NPP. We were in Ghana when the police were beating NPP supporters. Somebody lost the eye. If you dont know go and ask Gabby Asare Okyere Darko and he will tell you more about what happened to him.
Great Job.
