President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has made a reshuffle in his government.
In a statement issued by the Communications Director at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin and copied to Peacefmonline.com; the Minister of Tourism, Catherine Afeku has been reshuffled and now assigned to the office of the Senior Minister as a Minister of State at the Office of the President.
The Member of Parliament for Prestea Huni-Valley and former Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Barbara Oteng Gyasi will replace Catherine Afeku as Minister-designate for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts.
Other names that were mentioned by the President were Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North and former Deputy Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Gifty Twum Ampofo who has been appointed as Deputy Minister for Education, and Hon. Freda Prempeh, former Deputy Works and Housing Minister is now the Deputy Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection among others.
