Founder and Leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry International, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah, has in an open display of extreme anger, stated that the three girls kidnapped several months ago in the port city of Takoradi in the Western Region, will continue to go missing.
The girls are 18-year-old Priscilla Mantebea Koranchie, last seen on December 21, 2018; 21-year-old Priscilla Blessing Bentum, last seen on August 17, 2018; and 18-year-old Ruth Love Quayson, last seen on December 4, 2018.
The man suspected to be behind the kidnappings, Samuel Udoetuk-Wills, who broke cell and escaped from the custody of the Takoradi Metropolitan Police Command on December 30, 2018, and was re-arrested by the police on January 4, 2019 was on April 29, this year, sentenced to an 18-month jail term for escaping from lawful arrest.
The controversial prophet, who had earlier indicated that he knows where the kidnapped girls are being kept, but will only disclose their location if the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo calls on him to do so, appears to have lost interest in helping to find the girls.
The self-acclaimed nation prophet's sudden ‘U-turn’, stems from Mr Michael Hayford's comments on Tuesday morning on Neat FM.
Mr Hayford speaks for the families of the missing girls.
The man of God took umbrage at the spokesperson's threat to physically attack him (Bempah) should he fail to reveal the whereabouts of the girls.
“I will slap this man. I don’t mind going to jail because of that man [Rev Owusu Bempah]. What is he telling us (that until the President asks him to, he will not out of his own volition, disclose the whereabouts of the missing girls)?” he angrily questioned in an interview.
His remarks seemed to have incurred the wrath of Rev Owusu Bempah, who in an interview with Kwasi Aboagye on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’, dared Mr Hayford to walk his talk – after invoking a dreadful curse on the family.
“The girls will continue to go missing forever,” he swore.

I am now convinced that this man is a lunatic. My friend told me but I never believed him, but with his posture, I now agree.
President is not going to ask you to do anything. If you know where they are and you are keeping it to yourself, which I doubt, so be it.
Why do Ghanaian's keep on entertaining such crooks who call themselves "prophets"? I can say with all confidence that there is no prophet in this country. They are doing this to satisfy their belly as Romans 16:17 says. Please if it is the will of God, the girls will be found. He is just an attention seeker who always want to be in the news.
Your downfall and disgrace will be great. I really petty those shallow minded Ghanaians who still follow you. There is absolutely no way you were called or ordained by God. The Bible says by the fruits you shall know them, so as for you de3 we now know you paaaa
I want all Ghanaians to know that this so call man of God is an attention creator. I think if this man has the spirit of God in him, he will have pity on these missing grils and their families and help to rescue them.
Sometimes as christians is good we don't comment. I don't know if chief imam and others contacted him to predict their death. You said you know were they are and now you want them to come to you so you pray to God for God to reveal their were about. hmmmmmmmmmm personally I don't believe any prophet in Ghana not even one. Because the True God is not speaking to any of them neither revealing the things they prophesy (Hebrews 1:1-3)
This man of God claims to know where the girls are. Why is the police or the CID boss inviting him to assist but inviting ndc party chairman who has nothing to do with it? this issue is a national security issue. maybe is one of the political games, politicians play and use the citizenry for. or they have used them for political sacrifice? Owusu bempah should come clean.
I think Peacefm should write their headlines in Twi, like what pertains on their radio station and affiliates. They can express themselves better through that medium and the unwarranted sensationalism will not occur.. Language, I believe, is the problem...brofo no....
Journalists are the ones who will bring confusion to Ghana. I just listened to your audio and the caption of the story is misleading and an exaggeration of the conversation your station had with the Pastor. This is not Maa Afia's Peace FM. This is not Sefa Kayi's Peace FM. Don't follow over sebnsationalism. It will destroy your reputation.
