A minute silence was observed for departed Alhaji Ibrahim Sly Tetteh before Ghana’s international friendly against Brazil kicked-off in London.

The entire Black Stars team and officials were spotted wearing black arm-bands in memory of the 54-year-old owner of Accra-based Liberty Professionals.

He passed away early Saturday morning while playing the game he had loved and served his whole life in Cape Coast, the Central Region of Ghana.

The world renowned football administrator who was buried on Sunday was responsible for unearthing several talents for the various national teams notable of them includes Michael Essien, Asamoah Gyan, Derek Boateng, Sulley Muntari, Kwadwo Asamoah and John Paintsil just to name a few.

Tetteh was also very instrumental in Ghana’s election onto the prestigious Caf Executive Committee last May in Sudan.

He left behind two wives and seven children.
