The Council of State has opened a book of condolences for the late Professor Kofi Awoonor, former Chairman of the Council, who was killed in a shooting incident at West Gate Mall in Nairobi-Kenya.
Al-shabab, a Somali terrorist group was linked to the shooting incident on Saturday, September 21.
A statement issued in Accra by Madam Jemima Nancy Asare, Director of Public Affairs and copied to Ghana News Agency said the decision was taken in consultation with the family of the late Prof Awoonor.
It said the book of condolences could be accessed from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm daily at the secretariat of the Council.
