Mobile communications entrepreneur and billionaire Dr. Mo Ibrahim is still struggling to come to terms with the sudden death of the iconic broadcaster Komla Dumor.
Describing the death as shocking and unbelievable, Dr Ibrahim stated Dumor would always remain an inspiration to Africa's youth.
"I just couldn't believe it when I heard the news. It is most untimely. We have lost an invaluable African talent," he told Joy FM.
He narrated how the late broadcaster stood for eight hours moderating the Africa conversation forum, challenging, questioning panel after panel, and understanding some of the key African issues.
He said Komla blossomed into an "international figure" and his hard work would only spur others on to greater heights.
Sharing some of his fondest memories of the fallen hero, Dr Ibrahim whose foundation is noted for the Mo Ibrahim Leadership Award said the late Komla Dumor had "an infectious smile" with a "great sense of humour."
Mr Dumor died on Saturday January 18, 2014 at his home in London after a heart attack.
