Reverend Samuel Kofi Oduro, the General Overseer of Blessed Divine Pentecostal Ministry, has called on Ghanaians to contribute towards the development of the nation.
He said national development should not be the responsibility of the government alone and that everybody should contribute his or her quota towards it.
Rev. Oduro made the call when delivering his Easter Message in Accra on Thursday.
He said Ghana was for Ghanaians and for that matter its development should be the prime concern of all.
Rev. Oduro appealed to the youth to desist from engaging in acts that would derail the development of the nation.
He urged Christians to show love to one another as Christ who shared His blood for mankind stood for peace, love and unity.
The General Overseer appealed to Christians to use the Easter season to take stock of the past year and intensify their efforts for development.
He appealed to political parties to unite and forge ahead and have the development of the nation at heart.
Rev. Oduro urged drivers to desist from drinking, careless driving and overloading in order to save lives during and after the festivities.
He charged pastors to lead exemplary lives for their members to emulate.
