According to a report by AfrAsia Bank and New World Wealth, the number of millionaires in Accra is expected to grow at a rate of 78 per cent, the highest for any African country.
The current number of 2,300 millionaires in the city is expected to rise to 4,100 in a decade.
In the report released on Thursday, Ghana�s capital is currently ranked the 10th African city for millionaires.
South Africa�s capital of Johannesburg is at the top with 23, 400 millionaires.
Cairo, Lagos, Cape Town and Nairobi follow in that order as the Top 5 African cities for millionaires.
There are four South African cities in the Top 10.
The millionaires refer to individuals with net assets of $1 million or more.
The ranking excluded Libyan and Tunisian cities.
