Jennifer Atieku, the level 300 Banking and Finance student of the University of Professional Studies (UPSA), Accra who was murdered by her boyfriend is to be buried this Saturday at her home town.
Her brother, Alfred Atieku told Adom News that the court has granted them permission to go ahead with the burial after the autopsy result.
It could be recalled that the deceased, was allegedly killed by her taxi driver boyfriend after she announced a break-up of their five-year long relationship.
The boyfriend, identified only as Paul did not take kindly to the decision of the lady to leave him, and threatened to kill her. He then carried out his threat early morning, after which he attempted to kill himself by stabbing his abdomen. He however survived.
He was rushed to the nearest clinic for medical attention and was resuscitated, according to a police report. Jennifer, according to the report, received knife wounds on the head, throat and left breast, leading to her death.
The deceased's brother has called on the police to let justice prevail after investigations since the suspect has confessed to the crime.
