Thirty-five (35) communities in the Kwahu East District are to be connected to the national electricity grid, the District Chief Executive (DCE), Nana Antwi Siaw, has announced.
They include Miaso, Orobon, Hyewohuden, Kwame-Agyei, Mota, Dadiase, Bonkrase, Odumase, Asempanaye, Kotoso and Nkwantanan.
He told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Abetifi that the project would cost GHȼ5,250,000.00.
Nana Siaw said the work had already begun and that everything would be done to ensure its early completion to boost the economic activities of the people.
He said the government’s goal was to provide every community with their fair share of development.
He asked that the people cooperated and supported the contractors for smooth implementation of the project.
