There was a festival of prayers in Starbow flight S9103 that was en route to Accra from Kumasi. The flight is reported to have been hovering mid-air for close to one hour, causing some passengers to raise their voices in prayers.
The captain of the flight is said to have returned to the Kumasi Airport where he landed safely.
Management of the airline has explained in a statement Monday that the pilot was faced with bad weather.
“...The captain decided to return to Kumasi as a safety precautionary measure and all the passengers were disembarked safely without any incident and the flight was not in any danger at all.”

If a plane hovers it means it's out of gas and its engines turned off. If that's the case the pilot is an incredible man. If not however then I feel bad for this show of theatrics and... Man I don't even know what to call this. We need to relax as Ghanaians. I understand turbulence can be frightening but that plane looks like it's in perfectly fine condition..I suppose you can tell by the sound of the engines and the buddy in the red shirt's completely unmoved reactions..sorry for the fright but I'm not sure jesus saved you either. Planes work as scheduled...sorry for your ultra-superstitious expectations
Next time join me in the bus, you flex too much.
On a lighter side, man fear death so. Its our profit from bad inflation, heavy rent, fuel cost, unemployment and delta "farms", heheheehehehe. Any way we thank God HE didnt call those ppl to glory. For sure plenty planes landed at the airport on that day but i guess the flight prayer session was not bad, Some body was not praying hard enaf on the ground so God made him pray up there .It is appointed unto man to di. oooooooonce
Please stop killing starbo
It is easy to criticize however if you find yourself in a similar scenario we will probably all do the same.
What hovered? Shame! Find the better word. Helicopters hover.
Black man and superstition. A plane meets turbulence and what? Look the white men in the plane. They remain quiet but see our fellow black people. Do you think the plane will fall?
As for us and superstition, smh. We outsource everything to the spiritual.
Did other planes land in Accra on that day or period or not. The management of Starbow should come again.
