Founder and Senior Pastor of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, aka Winners’ Chapel, David Oyedepohas said that he has never received or shared any money from any government in Nigeria and that as a matter of fact, he is a ''dangerously wealthy man''.
Speaking at the opening session of Shiloh 2018, the annual gathering of the members of the church at its International Headquarters, Canaan Land, Ota in Ogun State, Oyedepo who has been named as one of the richest pastors in the world, said this while reacting to speculations that he receives kicks from unnamed government officials.
“I don’t share any booty from any government. I have a clear conscience. I am dangerously wealthy. I am rich, whatever I want, comes. That’s what they call wealth,” the Bishop said.
While delivering his sermon titled “Heralding the Dominion Era of the Church,”, Oyedepo emphasized that the church is a powerful body in any nation and it can decide the fate of anyone or anything. According to him, the authority that enthroned the church was from heaven and not man-made.
“It is not something that we organise; it is by the hand of God. You can be upset, it won’t change anything,” he said

Are there no problems even in America? Is there any country without a problem?
Do you people expect the man of God to say he is poor?
AND WHAT ABOUT ALL THE PROBLEMS IN NIGERIA CHRISTIANITY IS NOT ALL WEALTH BUT SOUL SAVING PLEASE REACH OUT TO THE POOR SOULS
How many of our Ghanaian pastors are on the street winning souls for Christ like Bishop David Oyedepo. This man of God is on the street daily winning souls and helping the needy. If you don't understand biblical principles and no knowledge about somebody, never comment about him. Don't perish in ignorance. Seek knowledge and you will enjoy the full benefit of your salvation as a Christian.
Christianity is not all about Riches! A pastor who owns a private jet at the expense of members unable to make even three square meals...What a world ... what a pity! Maranatha!!!!
This man is a ***barred word***, period.
Indeed I like what the pastor said. There are many insulting comments from these later day pastors but people continue flocking to them with even more money. If these people cannot read the bible for themselves and will have to follow a narrative by a supposed man of God who in turn insult them then these people cannot be saved.
I can't tell if the Man of God does any "alms giving". Even if he does so, as a Man of God, you don't have to talk like that. I have been wondering what these Nigerian pastors are up to. They can mobilize 20 to 25 million Christians in Nigeria and get 7 to 8 million people to pray and fast every day of the week for 100 days for the numerous problems of Nigeria, especially the . . . . . . threat! Bloodshed in Nigeria can be stooped by X'tians in Nigerians. Take the initiative sincerely, and the rest of X'tians in the world will support you!!
Thanks and praise to the Lord. This is the saying of a true Seed of Abraham. Christians wake up, Christianity is not weak. It is not a poor man's religion but the demonstration of the Spirit and of power.
the problem of the 3rd world countries is largely Christianity and Islam by extension
