The People's Progressive Party in Wulensi in the Northern Region is accusing the NDC of buying votes from the people of Wulensi ahead of the by-election.
The seat became vacant after the death of the MP, Alhaji Sani Iddi.
According to the PPP constituency organizer, Alhaji Kwame Mutala, the NDC party office is current packed with motorbikes which are being distributed to people in exchange for votes.
There is massive construction works going on in the area and the distribution of resources and money to the women which is very unfortunate. Their party office was yesterday packed with brand new motor bikes, he said.
Alhaji Mutala also questioned the better Ghana agenda being propagated by the ruling NDC saying, if they claim that they have done so well with the better Ghana agenda, why then are they going around distributing gifts?
The Wulensi by-election is due on the 31st of this month.
