Life behind bars teaches inmates about seniority and it is for this reason Mr. Stephen Atubiga, has requested that Mr. Ken Kuranchie accord him with maximum respect at any point in time.
Mr. Atubiga, a member of the National Democratic Congress communications team, was sentenced to three days in prison for making criminal contemptuous statements by the Supreme Court. The same court slapped the editor of the Daily Searchlight newspaper, Mr. Kuranchie, with the same offense but he served ten days in prison.
After going through this bitter experience, the two however managed to talk about the lighter aspect of their woes when they appeared on Adom FM.
It all begun when Mr. Stephen Atubiga ordered Ken Kuranchie to keep in mind that although they both attended University of Nsawam Prisons, he still remains a junior to him.
This message was calmly welcomed and accepted by Mr. Kuranchie who hilariously stated that I agree being his (Atubiga) junior in school and I have no problem with that. I was blockheaded so I failed many of my exams.
