Managing editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt has indicated that the numerous peace messages and summits that have been pouring in since the onset of the election petition at the Supreme Court has paid off.
According to him, unlike formerly when people were hyper about the case and various derogatory comments were flying all over, the airwaves have now calmed down.
Kwesi Pratt was commenting on the genesis of the election petition at the Supreme Court and the various issues surrounding it.
Now people are careful of what they say especially in the media and the atmosphere has calmed down he said contributing to panel discussions on Fridays edition of Kokrokoo Morning Show.
He attributed this to the flood of peace campaigns from the peace industry which include that of chiefs, religious leaders, parties involved in the case (NDC and NPP) as well as political parties except one.
He indicated that the peace industry must be commended for the work they have done instead of being discouraged; adding they have done nothing wrong.
