The Minority in Parliament says it has not taken any decision to boycott Tuesdays reading of the 2014 budget.
We have not taken any such decision. No such decision has been taken, he said.
There were reports that Minority would announce a boycott to protest last Fridays 2.5 percent increase in the VAT threshold by the majority side in Parliament.
Addressing a press conference on Monday, Minority Leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu explained that Fridays incident was borne out of the First Deputy Speakers disregard for procedure.
Between Friday and tomorrow we still have so many hours before us and we will still be evaluating the events as they unfold. We have agreed to meet tomorrow at 9am, he added.
