Mr Francis Addai-Nimoh, one of the aspirants in the New Patriotic Party presidential race, could not put up a spirited performance as he lost the elections in his own constituency.
Mr Nimoh who is the Member of Parliament for the Mampong Constituency could only manage 95 votes as against Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addos 419 and Mr Alan Kyeremantens 17 votes respectively.
Generally, the first-time presidential aspirant recorded results in single digits and in some instances, zero.
This is against the huge gap between his results and those of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who garnered votes in the hundreds.
In spite of Mr Kyerematens poor showing, his results were still way better than those of the Mampong MP.
