A former Presidential spokesperson, Koku Anyidoho, says he will continue to be loyal to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) if he is voted as the Deputy General Secretary of the party.
According to him, nothing will make him betray delegates who have showed interest in him and thus, will vote for him.
Mr. Anyidoho is vying to become a Deputy General Secretary of the party. He is contesting the incumbent George Lawson, Kojo Adu Asare who is the former boss of the Youth Enterprise Support (YES) Fund and Timothy Awuntirim.
Mr. Anyidoho on Adom FMοΏ½s Dwaso Nsem Monday noted that οΏ½the same loyalty I showed for late President Attah Mills will be given to delegates who will vote for me and all the delegates will vote for me as the Deputy General Secretary.
οΏ½I consider my position as a much bigger responsibility and so I will work very hard to help the NDC retain its seat in 2016. I will never betray my party and my delegates. We are coming in to bring our experiences to bear because 2016 will be a very critical year for my partyοΏ½ he opined.
Meanwhile the NDC is gearing up for the upcoming national delegatesοΏ½ congress scheduled to take place in Kumasi on December 20, 2014.
