He was live on national television before the Judgement Debt Commission when he wept to prove his innocence.
But Kobina Tahir Hammon, NPP Member of Parliament [MP] for Adansi Asokwa has dismissed reports of ever shedding tears at the Judgment Debt Commission.
He made this revelation on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem Wednesday morning when questioned about the incident.
“I never wept at that commission, I was just emotional…you should rather refer to the likes of Kwadwo Adu Asare and the others who wept,” he noted.

The former Deputy Energy Minister during Ex-President Kufour’s era openly wailed while giving real evidence regarding the whereabouts of US$3.5 million of US$24 million realised from the sale of a drillship in 2001.
With tears from his eyes, the former minister cried out at the commission which was headed by Justice Yaw Appau.
“My mother is dying because of this,” he wept.
