Kofi Adams, the National Organizer of the ruling NDC strongly believes the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) the perennial petty squabbles within the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) is as a result of their unsuccessful attempt to map out a campaign strategy to defeat the winning partnership and inspiring performance of the Mahama-Amissah-Arthur administration.
He added it is due to this confusion and frustration to surmount the overwhelming performance of the ruling Mahama-Amissah-Arthur administration that led the opposition party to accuse the NDC government of the recent raid and ransacking at their party headquarters.
According to him, the confusion and frustration of the opposition NPP is expected as the NDC would also have been in the same bottleneck if such tremendous performance of the NDC government was being experienced under the NPP.
“If the NPP were at the helm of affairs and the party lived up to the expectations of Ghanaians like the way President Mahama and Amissah-Arthur have done in the country and there is peace in their party, I would not have been able to campaign against the NPP because the performance of this government, indeed considering the atmosphere within and without, if you compare with abroad, it is very difficult to say that you can stand up to do any campaign against Mahama-Amissah-Arthur administration,” he opined.
Emphasizing on his point on Okay Fm’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show, Kofi Adams insisted it is “the performance of this government around the country which has made the NPP confused without knowing what to say again to convince Ghanaians”.
“Wherever you pass in Ghana, you see vivid human-related interventions going on. If it is water projects, schools, roads, hospitals, airports and seaport, then these are very clear to see the level of improvement in the country under President Mahama-Amissah-Arthur administration,” he stressed.
