Founder of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom Wednesday May 11 boycotted a planned lecture with students of Accra Polytechnic following the sudden appearance of the Deputy Minister of Education in charge of Tertiary, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.
Dr Nduom was to address the students as part of his Power Talk series under the topic, ‘Entrepreneurship: Preparing student leadership for corporate leadership.’
The businessman, according to Class News’ Ridwan Karim Dini Osman, left when Mr Ablakwa walked into the auditorium to be part of the talk.
Information gathered by Class News indicates that Mr Ablakwa was not part of the talk but one of the student leaders invited him on the blind side of other student leaders and Dr Nduom, who was the main speaker.
The 2012 presidential aspirant left the campus with his team while Mr Ablakwa stayed behind to address the students.
Some of the students were aggrieved.
