Member of Parliament for Kpandai, Matthew Nyindam has implored President John Dramani Mahama not to "kill" himself over his defeat in the past December elections.
According to him, the President has done his best and Ghanaians have also given their verdict by voting massively for the President-elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Hon. Nyindam, speaking on ATV's "Asem Yi Di Ka" programme which airs between 3pm to 5pm every week day, told the host that though the sound victory of the NPP is very disheartening for the President to imbibe; "he has done his best. When Ghanaians marked him, they gave him 44% and gave Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo 53%. That is the verdict but he has done his best. That is what he can do."
He further commended President John Mahama for executing his Presidential duties over the last four years, stressing that "he can't kill himself. What he can do is what he has done."
