After suffering a heavy defeat during the 2016 general elections, it would take President Mahama time to recover a member of the National Democratic Congress has observed.
Mr. Hackman Kabore, the NDC’S Deputy Eastern Regional Organizer, stated on ‘Asem Yi Di Ka’ which airs on ATV that it would only take people and politicians who have less education about an election to judge President Mahama by the demeanor he put up during his last address to Parliament yesterday.
A communication team member of the Progressive People’s Party, Yusif Abdul-Rahman Laari had earlier on stated on the show that when he watched President Mahama on TV, he noticed that the president even found it hard to fake a smile during his address the nation.
But Kabore argued that it would take time for President Mahama to revert to his normal life. “We have to deal with facts. He can’t take it easy un ess you are the type who hasn’t contested in an election before. It will take him some time to recover”, he noted.
