Private legal practitioner and member of the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC), Abraham Amaliba has vowed to do whatever it takes to ensure that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo fails as President and subsequently rejected by the electorates in the next elections.
He told NEAT FM’s morning show host Kwesi Aboagye that, he will do that as 'payback' to what former Attorney General Martin Amidu did to former President John Dramani Mahama.
According to him, Martin Amidu had no intention of retrieving the GHc 51million paid to Alfred Woyome - instead, his intention was to see John Dramani Mahama out of office “And he achieved that.”
“I have no problem with that. As I am speaking to you now, I want President Nana Addo out. So anything I can do legitimately to achieve that, I will do that just as Martin Amidu did to President Mahama,” he said.
Adding that “I have no faith in Nana Addo, he can’t work.”
Lawyer Amaliba was responding to the withdrawal by Martin Amidu at the Supreme Court to orally examine Alfred Woyome on the GHc 51million paid him.
The anti-corruption campaigner, who had filed a case in the Supreme Court seeking permission to interrogate the embattled businessman, told the court Wednesday that he was no longer interested in the case.
He explained he believes the Akufo-Addo-led administration will retrieve the state money which was wrongfully paid to Woyome in a judgement debt.

Nana is not even up to 100 days in office and some one is already promising to make him fail. How can we be like this in a country. If I may ask how do you intend to make sure Nana fails. What are you smoking :)
I have never heard anything as disappointing as this. I bet you, my 4 year old son is wiser than this man.
At times I feel sorry to be a Ghanaian, when I consider the attitudes and characters of some Ghanaians. If a lawyer, a state law defender, a representative of God who seek justice to be done and citizens enjoy good living come out with such ani/malistic behaviour. Before I was thinking formal education teaches wisdom but now I have come to know that wisdom is only acquired through the fear of God. If a man looses his godly conscience he starts to speak like a bea/st in the forest. Amaliba get grandparents to educate u and stop behaving like a baby.
Ahh!! Akoa yi asei papa. So a lawyer bi this. Ghana we get characters.
Heerrrhh!!! Ghana. I sware this man has no morals at all. This is the of the tragedy of Africa and precisely ghana . well I don't blame him because he was brought up, to pull people down
This is a lawyer and I believe the law and the supreme court has to do something against this words. This a very threatening words to the nation. It can mean anything from ***barred word*** public finance, destroying state infrastructures, causing an agency or any state institution to malfunction, taking lives of key people in the nation who are poised to see the nation prosper as well as the life of the president He mentioned. I need a lawyer of the state to sue this man at the law court and should be an issue of the Law Court. The failure of the president is the doom and failure of the nation. Is this man not worried of Ghana's failure so far. We will be sixty years in few weeks to come. God bless Nana and his administration to succeed more than expectations. Not for their sake but for the nations sake, Lord.
If Amaliba was God he would have personally denied good people from getting good air to breath. Thank God he is not. God is ruling through the president and Amaliba can do absolutely nothing.
SHAMEEEEEE AND LIAR YOU WILL DIE BY YOUR WICKED INTENTION..............................AMALIBAAAAAAAAAA
You should have first opposed Martin Amidu from causing president Mahama to exit. It's too late for you. I see you failing as a lawyer. Get a life.
