Kwesi Pratt Jnr. has hit hard at the erstwhile National Democratic Congress (NDC) government, claiming they did a "useless work".
Kwesi Pratt explained that one of the factors that led to the NDC's defeat in the 2016 elections was because the government failed to bring relief to Ghanaians in their budget statements.
According to him, the erstwhile Mahama administration was supposed to read a budget that would have a direct influence on the citizens but rather made a lot of "useless" interventions that didn't benefit the population.
Mr. Pratt was commenting on the 2017 budget statement by the ruling government dubbed the "Asempa" Budget which is translated as the "Good news budget".
He noted that if the NDC had presented the budget statement by Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta to the nation; it perhaps would have remained in power.
To him, a budget is a "a political instrument that shows the direction of the government and this budget defined that thing clearly", " . . two of the best examples is so-called abolition of taxes on spare parts . . . The second one is the Kayayei thing. That is how the budget should be. I’m not saying it’s wrong. When you finish reading a budget, you have to see which sections of the society are going to benefit and which sections of the society are not going to benefit.”
“That’s what our brethren in the NDC didn’t do and so suffered. If you do Circle interchange, you this or that, you do a green book and if you don’t direct it at a certain constituency make people own the budget or aspects of the budget; in terms of politics, you’re doing a useless work. That’s why you did a lot of useless works and this is a very important point for me. All the work they did, in the final analysis, look at the election results. So, people did not own the work they did," Mr. Pratt stressed.

Eiiii KWASI PIRATO, weren't you a spokesman, why didn't advise John Mahama instead, Mr Chameleon, Nana Addo knows who you are, Taxes from Kakayie were used to buy u the V8, u ve now turned against NDC, bitten the fingers that fed your hungry stomach
Kwasi Pratt is not being brunt and direct. Say it as it is. Mahama and NDC DIDN'T HAVE A VISION. IT WAS "TAX AND SPEND" Government. Now it is Nana Addo's government and has his vision - make Ghana GREAT
Now you coming to your sense Mr Pratt, you could advice the NDC administration as long as you are an active member who always framed an awkward statement against Nana Addo and the NPP party simply because you doesn't want Nana to become president. This is common sense revolution that send message to the Ex president John Mahama. Ghanaians are not ***barred word***, the level of the intelligence you were empowered upon the average population of Ghanaians lead to collapsing of businesses and affected the small scale entrepreneurs. We thank God who knows better to guide Nana from death and now we Know who he is.
mr. pratt i like you for your honesty. some of us who sympathize with the NDC hold similar view.
Plz u don't read and if u read u don't understand What of the 1% special import levy abolished aunt it affect car dealers also what about the replacing the 17.5% with 3% flat rate, wunt it affect ur business. U wey u shaaaaaa. U shaaaaaa ruf
Kwesi Pratt supported the NDC all along and never advised them. Non of them in NDC thought of this, this is an innovation. Ken Ofori Atta is brainy.
Nsem hunu is stuuu.pid, you're a fuuul. You're an anemaal. Those who go to China do walk from their houses to ariport? Those who go to China don't eat or drink? Those who go to China's children don't go to school right? Those who go to China do not go to hospital right. Why at all do we have aboooa nipa sei in Ghana? Kwaseeeea saa no firi Ghana. Hmm!
Now Kwesi Pratt has seen his smoothness level?. God is not a man like Pratt who would determine somebody's destiny. Pratt and his pay masters (NDC) always on Radio and TV stations, saying Nana Addo would never be a President in this Nation. Now you see what God can do? Anyway Pratt have you submitted your V8 Toyota Land Cruiser which was given you by your pay master(NDC)?
Kwesi Paratt 'PAA NIE' !!!!!!!; wonders shall never end because this was the same man praising Jon Mahama and the NDC smoe months ago for a great work done to develop Ghana ; the man then turns round suddenly to comment that NDC party did a SHODDY job on its development projects ; WHAT DO YOU KNOW !!!!!!!
