President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe has congratulated President Akufo-Addo for what he described as a highly impressive speech delivered at the colourful parade that marked Ghana’s 60th Independence anniversary on Monday.
For him President Akufo-Addo’s speech was one many would describe as a speech that re-ignited the spirit, and shot up the image of Africa.
Speaking to journalists in Accra on Tuesday, President Mugabe said he was in Ghana a year after independence in 1958 and for him what Akufo-Addo did on Monday should go a long way by affirming to Ghanaians that they have found a right leader who would champion the vision of Ghana and the vision of pan-Africanism.
