Editor of the Al-Hajj newspaper and a member of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Iddrisu Bature has asked President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo and his government to go on their knees and apologize to Ex- President John Dramani Mahama if they want God to forgive and make them excel during their tenure of office.
According to him, “this government will face challenges should they refuse to beg the out gone government especially the President whom they tagged as incompetent.”
Speaking on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ political talk segment, he noted that there must be a cause to the numerous lost of lives just after a change of government since its rate can’t be classified as normal.
He cautioned political leaders against the attempt to mock God by claiming to serve him whiles consulting deities just to be in power.
Alhaji Bature said that, “members of the New Patriotic Party [NPP] should not complain about any misfortune or problem facing them while in government, because those were the same problems that the previous government wanted to curtail when they [NPP] marked them as incompetent . . . Have they now realized that in reality, things are not like how they saw it when they were in opposition?”
“The NPP vigorously campaigned against the NDC making Ghanaians believe them that electricity prices were higher than monthly rent bills which were never true and can never be...it was a sign of wickedness towards the then government,” he told UTV.

I Thank God that not all Ghanaians have short memories. At least some of us remember very well that after the 2012 elections, there were multiple accidents and fire outbreaks which led to many people losing their lives. Did that mean that former Prez. Mahama at that time had wronged Nana Addo or had consulted some deity to win the elections. This man needs to get his head re-examined. I think the NDC's abysmal performance in the 2016 elections has negatively affected his brains.
Irrelevance!! Now seeking attention. Desperado!!
you can insult this man all you want true must be told. shamelesssssssssssssssssssssssssssss foolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllssssssssssssssss
WHO WILL APOLOGISE TO A '***barred word***?
We (NPP) don't need to waste our energy on people with room temperature IQ,
When I hear people like this cola journalist making such comments, it makes me ask myself do we really have sensible people in Ghana at all. You don't expect people who call themselves educated think like they have never stepped into class room before. We are in 2017 and Ghanaians think this way. Ghana is lost. It's about time Ghanaians stop listening to clowns like this guy. Aaaba
Somebody tell this Bature guy we are all not equal so he should look for those uncivilized villagers who listen any garbage they trow out as facts. Have u ever seen God? Please stop that superstitious allegations and find something doing. Your paper has no future just get urself better thing.
The money Bature was given by Mahama NDC is not finished yet and he will continue to speak for his master. Wait for 2 years when it is all gone and we see the real Bature. HE WILL DO ANYTHING FOR MONEY
Talking of apology, I don't think there's any person who owes more apology to Nana Akufo Addo and to Ghanaians than John Mahama. For four years, Mr Mahama walked strutted and spoke pompously and tactlessly, and insultingly against all manner of persons and groups (including the media, NPP, the USA when the Ford Expedition saga broke, Nana Addo,Freddy Blay, Asantes,Ghanaians in general, to name just a few). He and his appointees committed countless blunders and seemingly deliberate acts of perdition against the people of this country. We calmly and gritly endured atrocious evils whiles praying and hoping that his gloomy and plaguing era would soon expire. And the Lord heard our cry and gave us someone after His heart, His beloved Akufo Addo. Considering the social, economic, spiritual, cultural and physical circumstances of Ghana under which Nana Addo inherited the presidency, even Alexander the Great would have faltered. Nevertheless, with the Lord still owning the battle, victory is guaranteed. This is only the morning, wait a while.
You and Mahama are the ones who have to apologise to Ghanaians for robbing, stealing and luuting the people's money! Impregnating their daughters and sleeping with their wives! Repent and ask God for forgiveness. Else a c u r s e is even better than you!
