Government communicators and apologists admit that "free SHS"(?), for now, covers ONLY first year students, despite NPP's manifesto promise to "ensure free education for all Ghanaian children up to senior high school".
In fact, these same people also admit that continuing students (2nd and 3rd SHS students) are completely excluded from the ongoing policy.
Put differently, students in SHS 2 and 3 will pick their own bills for secondary education. And that's a point that government communicators do not disagree!
Yet they insist they insist that the government's free secondary education policy in its present form is not progressively free but rather universally free.

The only logic that will not beat you is the logic of dubious corrupt deals. You are just confused just because high brains are at work now.Fuuuulish
Go on and talk of progressively free. Go on and talk of "NDC started it". Yes go on and attempt a comparison of 38 ghc for day-students with the most comprehensive education policy since independence. But also take a moment and talk to Uncle Ibrahim who now sends his child to first year for FREE. He will tell you what progressively and a comprehensive policy mean and show you the difference in his pockets. Sad you have no s.h.a.m.e left!
NDC are having a heart attack over this policy, you can say all you want, its a fulfilled campaign promise and now a national policy, with your ¢48 subsidy for students you said is was free keep quite and let the competent men in charge strategize for this dear country of ours, we simply don't want to hear you speak. period enjoy opposition
